I am astounded that when we saw them in atlanta we paid $5 and in athens $8 and suddenly tickets are $27?? Anoop, isnt that, like, a 200% increase or something? You know what that means, right? Tickets that are over $25 mean that the house will be crowded to bursting with girls in halter tops drinking Bud Light and smoking cloves. It seems an oxymoron but i can just hear it now..."The Lead Singer is SOO, like, sexy, im totally banging him after the show. Are my bra straps showing??" And then they will ask me for a cigarette and then they will ask me for a lighter and then they will toss their flat ironed hair around and then they will proceed on discussing how, like, interpol really changed their life, and like, how they were struggling with anorexia and exczema but, like, "Stella was a diver and shes always down" changed everything for them, and, like, theyre, like, really grateful to them and everything, and how, like, theyre looking forward to expressing that gratitude in a more universal/carnal language after the show. I hate that. And they will step on my toes to get to the front when they sneak in five minutes before the show starts.
